Scoopers (U7)
5-6 years old

Our scoopers program is instructional and is focused on introducing kids to the game of lacrosse. Basic skills such as scooping, catching and throwing are introduced at this age group. We will schedule as many Scooper games as possible with other league teams but the main focus for this age group is developing the skill sets needed for the players to have FUN.

We are a parent-run volunteer organization. Our success is directly related to the passion and support of the parents and families that help with the many aspects that go into running a first-class youth program. We depend on our parent volunteers to provide a fun, organized, and positive experience for our players and truly appreciate all of their efforts. We do everything we can to keep our fees low but that is nearly impossible without your help.  We need volunteers to keep our program going….WE NEED YOU!   Whether it’s being a youth coach, field volunteer, volunteer organizer, helping with the “Snack Shack”, or the many other roles we need help with (both on and off the field), you can help make Bowie Lacrosse even stronger. To ask about how you might be able to help, please reach out to our commissioners BowieLacrosse@gmail.com
